Birch House Farm

Our Accommodation

Each hand built lodge has sheep wool insulation and oak framed double glazed windows and doors. They have been designed to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible whatever the weather.

Start your day with a spring water shower in the ensuite facilities then cook a hearty Yorkshire breakfast with our free range eggs in the kitchenette. After a day exploring the North York Moors or the nearby coast you can relax in the double hammock by the fire pit watching the sun set. Alternatively you could snuggle on the sofa, admiring the views or watch TV or a DVD. A comfy double bed with full linen service is then ready for you to enjoy. However, be sure to keep an eye out for our early morning and evening visitors which may include Roe Deer, Barn Owls, Tawny Owls, Bats, Hares, Rabbits and of course Sheep.

We welcome one well behaved dog per lodge but they have to be on a lead at all times.

Outside of Lodge

The lodges are located in our woodland. Parking is provided in a gated area situated 150 metres from the lodges.

The route to and from the car park is along a woodchip path on a slight gradiant. Low level lighting highlights the path during the hours of darkness until 10pm. Please note you will need a torch as it can get very dark in the countryside. However, star gazing on a clear night at Birch House Farm is hard to beat.

"We've stayed in a lot of places in the UK. This is one of the best!" … "Finished to perfection "
